Charter Dinner 2023


The Royal Company of Merchants’ looks forward to welcoming you to the Charter Dinner. Please find the key information below.

Location: The Merchants’ Hall, 22 Hanover Street, EH2 2EN

Date: Friday 20th October 2023

Time: 19:00 arrival for drinks reception, dinner will be called at 19:30

Dress Code: White Tie, Highland Dress or Long dress with decoration and badges of office.

Guests who will be attending the Partners’ Dinner at the New Club will arrive at Merchants’ Hall for the Stirrup Cup in Merchants’ Hall at the end of the evening.


Order of Proceedings

Guests will be welcomed to the Merchants’ Hall and escorted to the Court Room on arrival for the reception. At 19:30 dinner will announced and guests invited to take their seats in the main hall.
