Essentially,
the Merchant Company is a membership organisation comprising
over 600 current and former business people, both male and female.
Two thirds
of the members are currently active in business, either as
owners and managers of SMEs or as employees of larger companies. All
types of
business are represented including professions such as accountants,
lawyers, doctors and dentists.
How to become a Member
- Application for membership is made to the Secretary
- Prospective Members must work or reside in Edinburgh
or within 20 miles of General Register House
