The office bearers of the Company are The Master, The Treasurer and 12 Assistants elected from the membership (The Master and Treasurer are elected from those who have previously served as Assistants). Serving in an honorary capacity, they make up The Master’s Court, the governing body of the Company and are supported by a number of Committees. The Court meets regularly to discuss matters related to the strategic direction of the Company, as well as its operation, and holds quarterly General Meetings that are open to all Members.

The Master is appointed for a two-year term, as is the Treasurer. Assistants serve for three years.

The Company has a permanent staff headed by the Secretary & Chamberlain (who is Secretary to The Master’s Court), who is responsible for the administration of the Company and its affairs.
